Employee or dependent loses benefits elsewhere

- You will have 30 days following enrollment to provide any required documentation for covered dependents if applicable.

My child is turning 26
- When your child turns 26, they will become an ineligible dependent and you will no longer be able to cover them.
- Their coverage will automatically be terminated on the first of the following month in which they turned 26.
- The Benefits Center will send a notification that your dependent is nearing maximum age. Additionally, they will send a COBRA Election Notice on the first of the month that coverage is terminated. This notice discusses how to elect COBRA continuation coverage, the cost of COBRA, and other coverage options that may be available. Your child can use this document as proof of loss of coverage.
