Learning the Advocacy Process graphicWe hope that your experience with ConocoPhillips Benefits is simple and intuitive, but what do you do when you have questions or run into a problem?

Follow these steps or advocacy process below to get answers to your benefits questions. Remember, you can use the Employee Benefits Handbook and Retiree Benefits Handbook to learn more about your benefits plan in detail, including eligibility and coverage questions.

  1. Resolve your questions directly with the claim administrator.
The claim administrator is uniquely positioned to answer questions and resolve issues quickly. For example, if you have ConocoPhillips Medical Plan benefits, you can contact your Blue Cross Blue Shield health advocate for assistance. If your issue involved your prescription benefits, you would contact CVS Caremark. You can see a list of benefits vendors here.
  2. Contact the Benefits Center at 800-622-5501 if your question was not resolved after speaking with the claim administrator.
The Benefits Center provides you direct contact a representative who is knowledgeable about the ConocoPhillips benefits plans. The Benefits Center is open at 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday. Hours are extended during annual enrollment. Note: If you have a question about your retirement and savings plans, you should contact the Retirement Center (Fidelity) at 833-637-4015.
  3. Ask the Benefits Center to escalate your question to a Benefits team member at ConocoPhillips.
If you are unable to resolve things with the administrator or the Benefits Center, you can ask that your question be sent to the ConocoPhillips Benefits team for further review. The Benefits Center and/or member of the ConocoPhillips Benefits team will follow up with you to address your question.
