ConocoPhillips provides financial assistance to support employees through a variety of life events including tuition reimbursement to attain a college degree, and financial aid to adopt a child. Employee involvement in local charitable activities is also supported through our U.S. Matching Gift and U.S. Volunteer Grant programs.

Tuition Reimbursement Policy

The U.S. Tuition Reimbursement Policy is designed to help employees further their knowledge, skills and job effectiveness through higher education in fields of interest to the company. Tuition refunds are offered to regular full-time or regular part-time employees. To participate, employees must obtain their supervisor’s pre-approval before enrolling in the desired course(s) or degree program.

U.S. Matching Gifts

The ConocoPhillips U.S. Matching Gift Program encourages eligible employees to become personally involved in the well-being of the communities in which they live and work. Contributions to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations are matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000 annually.

U.S. Volunteer Grant Programs

ConocoPhillips employees and retirees are well-known for their engagement in our local communities and support of charitable causes. To further encourage and recognize their volunteerism, the company offers two programs:

  • Volunteer Opportunities. At the ConocoPhillips Employee Giving Programs portal, eligible employees and retirees can easily search and sign up for volunteer opportunities in their community. This tool also provides participants with an opportunity to create a volunteer profile, log and track volunteer hours, and submit a volunteer grant once the required number of volunteer hours have been achieved.
     
  • U.S. Volunteer Grant Program. After volunteering with a qualified 501(c)(3) 
    non-profit organization, eligible employees and retirees can maximize their community impact by applying for a U.S. Volunteer Grant. With this program, ConocoPhillips will make a monetary contribution of $500 for every 20 hours an eligible participant volunteers and $1,000 for every 40 hours a team of four or more eligible participants volunteers. Individual non-profit organizations can receive up to $6,000 per year from the company.
