No longer endorsed or subsidized by ConocoPhillips after Dec. 31, 2020.

Information below is applicable if you will turn age 65 prior to Mar. 1, 2021, or if you are currently participating in or eligible for Post-65 Retiree Medical.

ConocoPhillips offers Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans, endorsed by AARP and insured through UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company, for eligible retirees and/or eligible dependents that are age 65 or older.

You and/or your dependents need to enroll in Medicare Part A & B approximately 90 days prior to turning age 65. You can enroll online at www.medicare.gov, or you can visit or call your local Social Security Office.

When you become Medicare eligible at age 65, Medicare becomes your primary payer. Your Medicare Supplement Plan will become your secondary payer.

You MUST be enrolled in Medicare Part B before you can enroll in a Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan. You pay the premium for Medicare Part B.

Approximately 90 days prior to your Medicare eligibility date, the Benefits Center will send your enrollment information to UnitedHealthcare. Shortly thereafter, UnitedHealthcare will prepare and send your enrollment kit. You need to complete the enrollment kit and return to UnitedHealthcare before your eligibility date.

You then need to choose a Medicare Supplement Plan. You and your eligible dependents may be eligible for Company-subsidized premiums toward the cost of the Medicare Supplement if you enrolled in coverage on or before Dec. 31, 2015.

There is no company contribution for prescription coverage (Part D). You can enroll in a prescription Part D plan of your choice.
